Fall into my frame.

We love to bring the outside in!
And that's just what were doing with this simple branch frame.

Whoooo goes there?!?!?

We went on a mission to pick a few of our neighbors branches.
We we're incognito, so no one saw.

We cut them to the size of the inside of the frame.
They fit tightly so we didn't need to glue them in.

Then stapled card stock to the back of the frame for a pop of color.

POP!  It creates a great silhouette effect!

Very Fiddler on the Roof...ya think?
Tradition!

Apple me Timbers.

We all want fall to be here, but it's still so freaking hot in NY!!!!
We're enjoying a taste of fall while trying to stay cool!

Whiskey, spiced apple cider and an icy shaved topping!

For this unexpected fall garnish we filled a glass baking dish with apple cider and a splash of whiskey...for good luck.
Popped it into the freezer overnight.
Then scraped the frozen cider with a fork to turn it into a shaved ice.
And piled it ontop of our whiskey cocktail.

Okay...that's enough summer...we want hoodie weather!...but we are in no way ready for winter.

Tie-dye mini leaves!

Fall is here and our refrigerator is loving it!

No, seriously, these handmade mini watercolor leaves are a great way to "fall" into the season!

We sloppily painted on watercolor paper and cut out mini leaves.
To finish the look we traced the edges with a golden Sharpie.

I got a golden sharpie!

We made some into magnets and kept some for leaf confetti around the apartment!

What a re-leaf!

Muppet Mania!

You guys!!!!  The Muppets are coming back!!!!

We couldn't have thought of a better way to celebrate than making this canvas art out of our favorite Muppet t-shirt!

This is pretty simple and a great way to hold onto your favorite shirts you can't part with.

It's time to play the music!
It's time to light the lights!

HIIIII-YA!

Quotebook Notebook.

As everyone is heading back to school, we're getting organized as well!

Notebooks from Target and lettering from Home Depot!

We used Washi tape to help keep the letters straight.

Want to make those pencils?

Name that quote!
