It's gonna be a Happy New Year!

We can't believe this year went by so fast!
Of course, we have to start the New Year with a DIY project...we're ringing in 2017 with these glittery vinyl candles.

We colored our vinyl numbers with a gold Sharpie then added gold glitter using spray adhesive and stuck our numbers on the candles!

The year of glitter and gold!

5...4...3...

Open Sesame!
Happy New Year!

The Christmas rush is through.

But still we have one wish to make, our apartment tour for you.

The logs on the fire fill us with desire to see you and to say...
Merry Christmas, darling.

Boxing in a Winter Wonderland.

We're crafting up to the last minute!

We made this mini shoe box diorama using an old iphone box.

Rudolph with your nose so bright, won't you guide my sleigh tonight?

Now craft away! Craft away all!

Merry Axe-mas!

We had the amazing opportunity to attend Blue Point Brewing Company's Logger Lager Lumberjack Festival in October.
We were decked out in full lumberjack attire including axes that we found at the dollar store.
The axes were plastic and cheap looking so we painted them to give them a more realistic look.

We loved them so much, we knew we needed to use them in our Christmas decor...and who doesn't love an upcycled craft?

Some ribbon and sprigs did the trick!

When lumberjacks and Christmas unite!

I'm yelling timber to all and to all a good night!

You would even say it glows.

Oh deer, we are in love with this little nightlight we made!

Here are the materials we used:

We cut a hole in the back of a mini cardboard shadowbox we found at Michaels to fit our nightlight and then got crafty!

 A little glue, paint...

...and lots of glitter!

It's the perfect addition to our reindeer room!

All is calm, all is bright.

Vintage Card Wreath!

We love these vintage style cards!
Every year we try to decorate with them.

This year we made a kitschy little vintage-y wreath!

We used an old wreath frame that we already had.
To add a little dimension, we used corks to make some of the cards pop.

And of course, a vintage wreath wouldn't be complete without a little tinsel garland.

Here are a couple of ways we used these cards in Christmas' past:

  1. Cards & Ribbon.
  2. Cards & Yarn.

Greetings cards have all be sent...
